Internet has become an integrated part of our life today. There isn’t a single area where an Internet not is not being used. It is being used in almost all aspect of life. Our daily transactions like shopping online, paying bills, means of communications etc all are serving by the internet today. In nut shell we may say that the Internet facilities have become backbone of modern life. It won’t be an overstatement that we may not imagine life without the Internet in our day. However if this core part gets slow or not performs well what it ought to be in such case it creates many problem for us. Fixing slow Internet issue is easy and needs few important things to bear in mind always. I have tried to write few of them below. I have seen there are many PC optimizer are being used by many PC users to increase their download or boost Internet connection speed.

Your browser: - Your browser is an indispensable tool that should be simply the best if you want to get the maximum speed (download and surfing the internet). If you browser is very heavy and is not able to process the things or WebPages rapidly the download or total PC speed will be very slow. So opt for a browser that is nice indeed. Google’s chrome is the best example of it.

Speed from your ISP’s end: - This is another facet of the internet connection speed. If you have tried everything else and still the speed is poor you need to contact your Internet service provider. It is because if the speed is restricted by many means from the ISP’s end it won’t be regained unless and until they rectify it.

Browsing cookies and temporary files: - Over time using the web browser it accumulates many temporary files and cookies. If these are very high in number they affect the total performance of the browser and resulting in low speed. You may simply delete these unwanted files and speedup you download speed and overall the internet connection speed. Here you can also use a good PC optimizer program to remove such unnecessary files.

Firewall programs: - Firewall programs are very essential for security purpose in your PC. They help us to protect our PCs from any external infection. However sometime few firewall programs are there that resist many entries or items from being download to your PC. In this case you may lower down the security settings of the firewall programs. This will certainly help to get better download and overall Internet speed.

Use a good antivirus or security program always: - Virus, spyware, worm, Trojan horse etc are the most dangerous security threat programs for any PC. If there is any infection in your PC it will certainly not affect the Internet speed but also may stop it and sometime harm the entire computer system. Using a good antivirus program resolves this issue officially. However I cannot ignore the fact that sometime we may need to eliminate some malicious entries manually as well. Apart from this you may also use any good PC optimizer program to remove entries from your system especially from the windows registry.

How to fix windows registry

Windows registry is the most essential part of all Windows operating systems. It stores all the relevant information and configuration settings about the hardware and software packages that are installed in the computer. A small incorrect change can create many issues such as slow computer, computer freezing and many other problems. The registry can be affected by any means such as a virus can modify the registry value, also when you install or uninstall any program from the computer the registry gets affected and changes.

Over time due various operations and other factor make your registry unstable and cluttered. To protect and clean your registry you might need a PC repair or registry repair tool which can clean and protect the valuable registry items.

The chief registry directories are known as hives. In the older operating systems, there were 6 key directories enclosed in these hives. Windows XP has five main directories. Vista is a little different in the way these directories are named, but that is, for all intents and purposes, the only way which they are different.

In the Windows XP they are (directories):

Hkey_current_confg,

Hkey_current_user,

Hkey_local_machine,

Hkey_users and

Hkey_classes_root

Registry errors are the most common cause of a slow computer problem

Registry troubles are a very widespread in Windows Operating Systems. Now and then during a computer crash, the registry file will be named in the error message. Nevertheless, be cautious here because many times a virus will give you a false error message. This message will try to show the way you to a web page that can fix the error or your slow computer problem. This is their was to make you purchase the items.

Naturally, real registry problems come on slowly and little by little. They mark themselves in repeated slowdowns or cause of the slow computer problem. This happens because the registry becomes corrupted over time, even if the computer is not used rigorously. Corruption is natural because anything that changes in your computer, such as deleting a text file or jpg, actually corrupts the registry.

Corrupted registry cause the slow computer issue

Thus when your registry gets affected or becomes corrupt, the operating system has more obstacles to work through as it performs its normal routines. So, it becomes slow.

This is a truth that a registry can become out of belt and make the computer's performance suffer greatly and create issues like slow computer, computer freezing and even become inoperable, but mostly, at least in early stages of corruption, the computer will just become slower. Of course, if a registry is left to become more and more corrupted, over time it will die all together.

Do not make any change into your registry manually

By no means open up your registry files. No good can become of it! When you work straight with the registry, its one false move and your computer is, dead! In 99% cases no one wants or even aware of the exact registry entry to be cleaned or corrected so beware of it.

It is only appropriate to use the best commercial registry cleaner program you can find. This program is sometimes referred to as a registry fixer or cleaner, as well as repair programs. I know, it is another expense, but it is a programs necessary one to keep today's complex systems of registry files optimized. Really, in retrospect it is not so expensive when think of the trouble it will save you in the long run.

In conclusion, the registry is the heart of your operating system and indeed it deals with all the hardware and software programs you have installed into your computer. Thus do not mess with the registry rather use any reliable and trustworthy software program such as registry cleaner to make it work or to clean your registry.

How to boost your PC performance

PC’s performance is one of the most important issues nowadays with almost all the PC are being used. Reasons may be vary but the outcome comes out the performance is poor or PC infected. I have experienced that in most cases infection plays a vital role to slower down any PC’s performance and infection mainly comes from the Internet. In the Internet there are plenty of infections are spreading like Viruses, spyware, Trojan horses,

In order to carry out a good PC checkup to fix slow PC problem and keep your PC efficient and good in performance a regular PC checkup, scanning with good antivirus and anti spyware program and a thorough PC diagnostics is needed to perform with the assistance of windows in built system tools as well as with other computer cleaner and PC diagnostics. External infection to a PC is one of the most unsafe and biggest issues windows operating Systems have been facing for last 2 decades. 80% of PC issues like Slow computer, computer freezing, BSOD etc. are just to outside malicious entries that come through the Internet. An Internet at the first place seems to be the biggest issue for all PC users and this is the means which affects slow PC enormously. This means an in-depth PC checkup is very much required so that you may run your PC smoothly and like a brand new bought.

I advocate by means of the Internet safe browsing. Do not open all the links you receive from unknown sources. I have been reading and writing quite a lot of times online, offline about the slow computer problem and how to maintain and to perform complete PC checkup, to fix PC and have got quality expertise while reading or writing about a slow computer. I have also experienced using a Computer Cleaner or any PC health checkup tool is a good idea for very often, it clears and keeps a slow PC faster to an extent, on the other hand completely relying on any Computer Cleaner or cleaner program is not an intelligent solution or good decision. I rather emphasize on using windows basic utilities including scan disc, check disc, disc cleanup sfc /scannow , and many other utilities are there. Using windows built in tools/ utilities are safer always.

Improve start up rate- MSCONFIG- to unload startup entries- When you install any application program to your computer it gets register in the windows startup also. Eventually the list increases as time passes or you keep on installing the program in your system. Usually windows does not need all the items are listed in the startup windows. Most of them are useless as far as windows boot sequence is concerned. Also all the necessary items that windows need they are hidden from a user so that they cannot be altered by any user. So you may unselect most of the entries from this list.

From Start->Run->Type in msconfig and press OK. Now Select the Tab startup and check for the items that are not needed. A slow PC or slow startup issue can be improved just by performing these steps.

How does a registry cleaner get executed?

The computer outlined repository known as computer registry was created by Microsoft Corporation to speed up the operating system. But this quite purpose and design can be harmful for your system when the system database is just not maintained and looked after on a regular basis with a excellent computer registry cleaner to completely clean the machine of worthless items which can be slowing it down and taking over hard drive space.

There are numerous brands involving computer registry clean-up applications like the Computer Mantra's registry cleaner, Computer and Windows XP that may clean up your system making it a lot more pleasant to make use of. These applications search within the machine and traces obsolete or obsolete files. Then immediately after figuring out the negative and positive entries it removes the unnecessary data making it possible for your computer to execute problem free and much more effectively than before running the program.

Make Sure The Registry scanning and cleaning Has A Good Backup System with registry cleaner

Prior to having a computer registry repair application it really is fully necessary to make sure if your software program has a backup system or not. This is significant simply because in the event the program goes completely wrong the system will crash and will have to be restored using this back-up to obtain the system back to its previous level of functioning. This will occur in the event the cleaner unintentionally removes some file in the system database which was needed by the system. You can download a free of charge edition of the computer registry cleansing program or even a demo edition. Nevertheless, an absolutely free or trial version do not possess full functionalities allowed within the download so it is good to have a licensed version from the software program. And it's also always beneficial to get a qualified and paid edition of the software program to maintain your system running error totally free and successfully.

A Damaged System Computer registry Will Freeze The machine

When the system identified database of your operating-system is broken or tainted the whole system will crash or become very unpredictable. This might make the machine useless. So, the computer registry is the central section of the computer system that must be placed in really good functioning condition. When this area of the computer becomes full of garbage, for example damaged links brought on by removing software program and never taking out the items from your system database, or out-of-date entries that don't need to be there the entire system will decelerate significantly. Surprisingly just one day time on the system can enter higher than a 1000 items inside the database. 40 % that would be worthless right after the days job is executed. These entries must be eliminated by using a good registry cleaner program. Although several 1000 items may have no important effect within the system they'll during a period of time.

How to fix blue screen error with a registry cleaner

What exactly is BSOD or blue screen of death? As a quick and simple overview this is the blue screen you see when your windows based computer confronts a crucial error that is generally computer hardware or driver related. It is popularly known as computer or system crash, while it is technically known as stop error. This really is one of the most terrible experiences you will come across with his PC especially during his most hectic and busiest day.

So how exactly does registry cleaner software help as BSOD solution? Initial step is to target what's written on screen. Generally, look for that particular component isn't functioning therefore resulting in the blue screen of death. Through experience, which is my best teacher, I'd personally usually believe that this really is driver related. Next, restart your computer in safe mode, then run you’re most trusted reg cleaner. Let it scan through your whole registry as well as your hard disk drive. In the event the scan is finished usually see the results, make a computer registry back-up and ensure you simply eliminate those that aren't required. This absolutely should clear up your issue more often than not.

As a beginner, I'd often propose that you retain a backup of your registry when working with registry cleaners. It should always provide you with to produce a back-up. Whether it doesn't, remember to not move forward making use of it mainly because it could possibly worsen, particularly, if you're not acquainted with registries. My most sage advice to suit your needs would be to look into the outcomes of your computer registry scan carefully and then try to comprehend them. Do not just read and ignore. You can acquire a large amount of details online about technical terms that you don't understand in the report.

You will find totally free registry cleaners, which often can do the majority of the task. One important reminder is to always read and backup! I have got experimented with a number of these however; many did more damage than fixing. I strongly suggest licensed or paid registry cleaners. Why? It is simply because of the live 24/7 support that is included in the paid package. I like live talk 24/7 assistance since it is more quickly and much more hassle-free, instead of calling a telephone. This really is essential if you messed your registry, you may get instantaneous answer through the assistance staff.

In nut shell this could be the most appropriate answer for the BSOD issue which can lead many other issues in your computer such as slow computer, computer lock ups, and many more similar problems.

How to remove malicious items from your computer

The registry is one of the most vital components of the Microsoft Windows operating system. It is a database containing virtually all system, software, hardware and user settings. The registry keeps record for every single program or hardware component. If anything missing in the registry your program might not work properly or even won’t start at all.

All the major dangerous and malicious items attack and modify Windows registry at the first sight. These malicious programs add various registry entries, create new keys, change default values. This is made in attempt to register a pest in the system, alter essential settings of the Windows operating system and installed software. All such changes are made to harm the operating system and the user data.

We have described below how to remove all such malicious and dangerous entries from Windows registry. However, editing the registry is a complicated task and involves many risks in it that only advanced users and professionals can accomplish safely.

An antivirus, antispyware and other computer cleaner program can remove these registry threats. However there are some other malicious items that cannot be removed by very powerful spyware removal tools. A security (Antivirus and antispyware programs) tool cannot examine each recent pest, and new pests appear almost every day. Anti-spyware tools rely on spyware definition databases. Thus few of the dangerous programs remain unrecognized in the registry or in your system.

This is why we need to go some extra miles sometime to remove malicious items from a system; however it is strongly recommended that kindly do not modify the registry if there is no real need for this.

The following steps show how to edit a registry manually.

Before you edit the registry: - It is strongly recommended to create the registry backup before modifying any registry value manually.

Click start->Select Run-> type in “regedit” (without quotes) and press enter.

Click file menu on the top left pane of the registry editor and select export option. It will ask you to save the registry backup. Save the backup somewhere in safer place in the system.

To edit the value, right-click on it and select the Modify option from the appeared menu.

You can also double-click on the value with you left mouse button or use the Edit menu. Type in the preferred value in the appeared window and click OK. This can be repeated with other registry keys as well.

Perform the same sequence of actions as just described in order to delete the value or the registry key. However, this time you will have to select the Delete option instead of Modify.

To add a new registry key or a new value, click on the Edit menu, select New and choose a type for the entry.

You can export any key or value from the registry to the defined file. Right-click on the object and select Export (on Image 7 it is in the red box).'

Enter a file name. Export registry files should have the .reg extension.

Export registry entries to a file

You can also import a certain value or a key. Click on the File menu and select Import. Then choose the file containing objects you want to import.

If after modifying the registry something goes wrong, you can restore the registry from a backup.

Warning: - Editing registry requires a great deal of professional expertise, it is advised not to modify any registry value if you are not sure about it. We recommend you to use an automatic registry booster program if you have any doubt about editing registry.

Why my computer is running slow?

Issue- My Computer is running slow what steps can I do to fix it?

There are many things that can cause a slow computer such as a low memory, not enough hard drive space, corrupt operating system, computer virus, spyware, or hard drive fragmentation. Lack of regular PC maintenance is one of the most common reasons. Below we have mentioned all the possible causes and solutions to fix a slow PC problem.

Possible Causes

Slow computer issue can be mainly caused by any of the below possibilities.

  • Low memory
  • Not enough hard disk space.
  • Left over programs and bad files
  • Data Corruption
  • Missing Windows updates / outdated drivers
  • Computer overheating issue
  • Corrupt OS.
  • Bad Hardware or incompatible hardware component

Possible Solutions

Low memory

Low memory or insufficient random access memory can cause slow PC problem in your computer. RAM or physical memory is an essential part of any computer system which loads all the applications into computer’s memory before the execution. Huge application programs such as MS word, adobe Photoshop require a great amount of memory to run them. If the physical memory is not sufficient to load the applications, it will affect the whole system and the computer becomes slow. Using an additional RAM is a good option if it is too low.

Hard disk space is not sufficient

A hard drive is not only meant to store data in it, but it also uses as a virtual memory on various occasions. Make sure that there is at least 200-500MB of free hard disk drive space. This available space allows the computer to have room for the swap file to increase in size as well as room for temporary files. If you have left less than 20% of total hard disk space we recommend removing some of your unwanted programs from your hard drive and providing some space to your system.

Also run Windows disk cleanup and disk defrag utility to provide some space.

Left over programs and bad files

When we uninstall any program from a computer some of its remnants left in the system. These unwanted leftovers create many issues including a slow PC problem. Your registry badly gets affected by these leftovers. Use a good registry cleaner program to remove all kinds of leftovers from your system.

Data Corruption

Corrupt or damaged data in your computer can make your computer run slow. Verify all the corrupt data and remove it from your PC to speed up your PC. If you are not sure about the damaged or corrupt data, use a good computer cleaner program to recognize and eliminate such data.

Missing Windows updates / outdated drivers

Microsoft releases various security patches regularly. These updates help you to protect your computer. Though some of the updates may not be relevant for your PC, however if you have any issue with your system, we recommend to install all the necessary Windows updates. It is very easy to install Windows updates. Go to the control panel and select Windows update. You can check an automatic update option ON, so that the Windows will look for any update automatically.

Also remove and reinstall any outdated drivers from your system. An outdated driver can also make your PC run slow.

Computer overheating issue

Make sure the temperature of your computer remains normal. A CPU high temperature leads to many issues such as computer freezing, blue screen of death and slow PC problem. Verify if the CPU and power fans are working properly.

Corrupt OS

Corrupt operating system can make the whole system unstable and slow. An operating system is a very complex and multi level architecture. Due its complexity it gets corrupted and infected by various malicious items. Use Windows installation CD/DVD to repair the corrupt OS. You may also run a good computer cleaner program to repair the corrupt and damaged system files.

Bad Hardware or incompatible hardware component

Last but not least; the hardware components are very essential part of a computer system. If any hardware component is corrupt or incompatible, it can create many issues including slow PC problem. Replacing the affected hardware is the best solution to defeat the issue.

For example, it should be something like c:\users\sam\Music and c:\users\Public\Music NOT c:\users as they will cause the whole directory tree to be re-indexed over and over.

You need to repeat the process for each user if all users have added managed folders which are actively changing on a regular basis.

This is the CORRECT way to adjust the WMNSS/WMPNetwk.exe process issues. If this is the culprit behind the issues the CPU usage will drastically drop down.

Also the CPU 100 % issue can also be seen due to corrupt registry items. You may use a good registry booster program to repair Windows registry.

How to use System Restore in Windows 7

System Restore is not a utility or tool which is used regularly unlike other Windows utilities. However the importance of the System restore feature is very high. It is generally used when all the other tools or resolutions do not work or fail. System Restore helps to reverse all the changes that have been made during the time and it put the system back to the date which you have selected. In a way helps you to get rid of all PC related issues including slow PC issue.

System Restore keeps notes of everything you change on your computer, enabling you to reverse them with a few clicks.

System Restore is switched on by default, though it's always worth double checking. Type ' system restore' into your Start menu and you'll see the three key options – opening System Restore, and shortcuts to creating and restoring from a Restore Point.

It is very easy to perform a system restore in Windows 7.

Click Start->In start search type in “system restore” (without quotes). When appears in the list click the icon.

The System Restore wizard opens. Click Next to proceed further. Now choose the appropriate date you want to restore your system and click finish. It takes few minutes to restore the system.

Windows 7 creates system restore points periodically, once a week or just before you install new software. The important thing in it is- you can create your own Restore Points whenever you like. For the most part, though, this isn't necessary.

Note-System Restore is not a file backup tool – it's a system backup tool. There is a big difference between both of them.

System Restore's task is to guard for Windows system files; all the programs that you install; Windows registry settings that get changed; and other behind-the-scenes elements. It does not alter your document.

Whenever any disaster occurs with your system, you can get your system up and running without needing to worry about anything you created before the Restore Point being wiped away.

RESTORE POINT: As discussed above Windows creates an automatic restore points periodically and when you install or uninstall any software program. However you can also create your own Restore points.

The best time to make a System Restore point is when you've just installed or uninstall Windows 7 and your drivers, and everything's working beautifully. This is the safest way Windows 7 provided with.

System and security

System Restore works simultaneously with Windows Backup. although this isn't switched on by default. Click Start and in Start search type in “System and Security” (Without quotes).

Common computer startup problems

Computer startup problems can be of different kinds. Such as if you are not able to boot your Windows at all, or it starts but does not go beyond windows logo, or sometime Windows displays an error message on the screen. Usually the most common issue is a slow pc startup problem, which can be seen very easily in any computer.

There can be many reasons behind these issues. Sometime your entire operating system may be corrupted. On the other hand any infection such as virus spyware, malware, adware etc can create this issue. An incompatible hardware it can also affect startup issue for sure. Below are the common causes and possible solutions that are written for all startup problems.

Windows file is corrupted- Windows executes many files while it’s booting process. If any of the file is missing or damaged it will affect the booting sequence or boot process. In all versions of Windows operating systems there are three important files that get loaded into main memory when Windows boots. They are:

Boot.ini

NTLDR

Ntdetect.com

The above three files are very important to boot Windows successfully and if any of them is missing Windows cannot boot at all. If your startup problem is pertaining to a missing or damaged file you can either repair or replace the file. If you have Windows recovery disk (It comes along with your operating system usually nowadays) you can run the recovery disk and it will repair the damaged files.

Computer Virus- One of the most noteworthy reasons behind booting issues is a virus infection. A virus can go to any limit and sometime a virus can stop all the activities in your system. The startup problem is one of the know issues created by a virus program. I recommend using an up to date antivirus and antispyware program.

BIOS or CMOS Issues – During the POST or power on Self Test a series of beeps are generated by your system, which means hardware problem is occurred. This means that the BIOS encountered hardware or driver issues. These issues can be best resolved after thorough investigation by a hardware professional. They will replace the affected hardware component. This will also solve your computer startup problems.

A corrupted master boot record- The master boot record in a system resides in the first sector on the hard disk and is accountable for commence the Windows boot process.

The master boot record stores the partitioning table for the disk in addition to a small program called the master boot code. This helps to start Windows system. If the master boot record is damaged, the partition boot sector can’t do its job and Windows cannot be started. In case the master boot record is corrupted, you can use the good Recovery Console tool to fix it. Recovery Console Window can be accessed when Windows boots.

If startup is slow- this is again a very common issue in Windows. To increase startup rate go to the msconfig windows, select Startup tab and uncheck all the unwanted startup items from the list and reboot your system.
