  • Within the System Restore tab you can either check the Turn off System Restore on all drives to totally disable this feature, or select the Settings button and reduce the space usage, which is suggested.

Disable hibernation

The hibernation mode is commonly turned off by a Windows user. If you are not using this feature, you can disable this feature to free up some amount of the disk space.

Steps to disable it:

  • Click the Control Panel and Double-click the Power Options.
  • Within the Power Options Properties window, click the Hibernate tab.
  • Uncheck the "Enable hibernation" option to disable the feature, or check the box to enable it.

Get rid of all temporary files
