We are surrounded by different kinds of machines and today almost every task is getting done by the various types of machines. The computer system is one of the most sophisticated and advanced machines and it is said this is the most complicated and biggest invention man has ever made.

However just like the other machines the computer system is also not flawless and it has many issues and errors in it. Some of the issues are bugs while other are occurred due to different reasons such as due to hardware fault, any software is corrupt or owing of a driver set, a virus or many more causes are there that can produce many kinds of ill effects and PC errors in your system.

Though numbers of issues or errors are countless in any Windows machine however every issue that occurs in the system affects your PC’s speed and performance to the great extent. This is why the Slow PC issue can be occurred very frequently.

If you are encountering the frequent slow PC problem with your machine here are the things you can try:

1. Uninstall Unneeded Programs- Eliminate all the unwanted and unused software and other useless data from your computer which is of no use to your system and just occupying unnecessary hard drive space.

2. Clean the Windows startup – Every software vendor follows a practice so that the software gets listed in the Windows startup. The software starts when windows boots up and it takes longer time than expected. Remove all such items that are not necessary for the startup process and speed up the Windows startup and also make your computer run faster.

3. Delete Temporary Files- over time lots of temporary data due to thousands of PC operations get accumulated in your hard drive. Remove all such data from your computer and make some space available in your hard drive. This helped me to speed up my PC performance to a great extent. You may also use a reliable PC cleaner program to clean such data.

4. Detect and Delete Duplicate Files- it could be possible that your computer has many duplicate files stored and which unnecessarily occupy the space in the hard drive. Remove all such duplicate files and provide some space in the hard drive.

5. Install windows updates- Windows updates are required to keep your system healthy and protected against various kinds of threats. Though not all the updates are relevant for your PC but few of them are really required to protect and speed up your computer. If you install all the windows updates it may cause the slow PC issue so just install the critical updates that are required for your system.

6. You may also disable temporary the unneeded Windows services, settings, and tools that slow down your computer. Windows is full of services, features and utilities but not all them are used by you. Still they keep on running in the background and consume system resources and resulting in you may experience the slow PC and other issues with your system. Thus suspending them temporarily can speed up your computer to a certain extent.

  2. A computer can be slow for many reasons and because of this we must have installed on it software like CCleaner, Malwarebytes or SuperAntispyware plus a good antivirus as well. I've learned how to take care of my device from someone who works at IT support Toronto... he taught me many useful things.
