There are different PC errors that can harm or affect your computer system badly and to the maximum extent. The BSOD or blue screen of error is one of the commonest and fatal PC errors which can damage and cause your PC very serious damages. Blue Screen of Death is a fatal error, which causes your system to bring to an end right away by displaying of blue screen of death error message. Whenever a user sees this error message he finds himself nowhere and cannot do anything at all at the first place.

  • A defective device driver set often can cause the fatal error,
  • Your faulty memory (Random Access Memory) is also responsible for bringing the blue screen error,

A Defective Driver produces to Blue Screen of Death

If you have install any driver set for any device in your computer and it’s not compatible with the computer it can produce this PC error. In most of the windows machine such as Windows xp, Windows vista and even in Windows 7 you can use the troubleshooter from device manager.

The device manager or tool helps to solve this issue, and can also resolve this issue when you install the drivers.

It’s very easy to open the Device Manager Window from the control panel and select the device manager. Your may open it from the various other options as well.

The following procedure helps you to open Device Manager by using the Windows user interface.

To open Device Manager by using the Windows interface

Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

Click Hardware and Sound.

Click Device Manager.

OR

Start ; Run;  type in devmgmt.msc and press Enter key


Right click and go to the properties of the corrupt or faulty driver. You can update the driver or reinstall it.

Defective Memory

A faulty memory card can be a major cause for BSOD. The best resolution to fix the faulty memory is to reseat your RAM. Take out the random access memory from your motherboard and put it back. Hopefully this should resolve the issue. If this does not help you can replace your RAM with a working piece. A faulty memory not only causes the BSOD error but also can create many other PC errors and even registry problems also.

Damaged computer Registry

Your computer might show some error message such as BSOD and many other PC errors due to Windows registry problems. The corrupt Windows registry can cause many other system and performance related issues as well. Scanning and repairing the Windows registry is highly essential in order to keep your system protected and stay working.
