The Windows systems have become so popular today that we cannot imagine life without them. The Windows operating systems are very user friendly and consisted of thousands of interactive and useful features. However like all other machines they have certain issues such as slow PC problem. This is a very common concern from all Windows users that how to speed up their slow PC. Over time due to countless reasons your PC might be slowing down. Here we will discuss all the important factors only that very often considered to be the most prominent reasons that make your computer/PC run slower. 

The hardware
The first and foremost thing you must verify all your installed hardware components are working fine and there is no hardware related fault in your machine at all. The efficient and working hardware components are the primary requirement of a computer system and they must be fulfilled in order to speed up your computer

Random Access Memory
The other important thing you need to make sure is your RAM. If your RAM is insufficient we recommend upgrading it to the maximum possible level. It is one of the primary causes of a slow PC problem. 

Infectious items such as virus, spyware, Trojan, worm etc
Virus, spyware, Trojan and many other kinds of malware programs are great danger for your PC’s health. In more than 50% cases the viruses and other infectious items cause the performance and many other PC related issues. In order to speed upyour computer you must remove all infectious programs from your computer. Up to date antivirus and other security programs are helpful to remove these entries from your system. 

However it’s not advised to use more than one antivirus program in the same PC. They occupy hard drive space and consume lots of system resources. 

Corrupt device drivers
Uninstall and reinstall all the old and incompatible device drivers. They might cause the slow PC issue. You may use good PC Cleaner software to identify and remove these incompatible and old software programs.

Temporary files
Remove all the temporary files and all other temporary data from your computer. Sometime you might be unaware of the temporary data in your computer but it could be in GBs. This unwanted stuff can make your computer run slower. Removing all the temporary data certainly helps you to speed up your computer. You may use windows built in tool disk cleanup to clean the temporary and prefetch files from your system. 

Unnecessary Services
Stop unnecessary windows services and programs. There are many such services and process that keep running on in your system but they are not used most of the time. You may stop these services and can add some speed to your PC.
