You might have heard and read so many advices regarding maintaining your PC performance and how to speed up your PC performance. However most of them are either do not help or are very complicated to perform or they might ask you to buy a PCcleaner or registry fix software. I also notice that in most of the cases the intention behind advising any PC fix is to sell the software. This is why I have tried to specify few very important steps or precautions in order to maintain your PC performance or to speedup your computer.

Use up to date antivirus program

Ant virus software is very much required for protecting your computer always. If you are using the Internet connection in your machine there are always high chances that it can get infected due to different kinds of infectious items into your machine. They can harm your computer system in many ways including reducing the performance to a great extent. So in order to maintain and speed up your PC you must use an up to date antivirus program.

Remove all unwanted software programs from your system

Too many software can conflict, occupy memory space, and consume lots of system resources and finally resulting in poor performance by your machine. The best practices to maintain your computer system is remove all the unwanted programs from your system and make it burden free and light.

Verify your hardware components are not faulty and you have sufficient RAM

A computer system is combination of hardware equipments and software programs. If any of the hardware is not working or broken or faulty it certainly reduces the speed and performance of your computer system. So to speed up your PC and for the best maintenance you must ensure that all the hardware components are in working state and there is no fault at all.  Remember there is no alternatives for any hardware fault and no PC cleaner software can fix your hardware related fault.

Try avoiding many changes such as removing, installing always new programs

It is strongly suggest try avoiding as many as changes you can. Due to frequent changes your windows gets corrupt and fragmented. Also windows have a central database which is known as windows registry and it gets affected severely. Thus if possible make only very essential changes such as installing new programs, removing programs frequently from PC, trying all the free software programs and so on. Also never install too many software program (Especially the security related software)
